The ACBS offers several free audio tracks that guide you through mindfulness exercises, as well as some concepts of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Although the recordings are not perfectly smooth, they do capture the essence of mindfulness, and they can be valuable if you are seeking guided mindfulness exercises. I especially like the "15-minute Awareness" and "Mindfulness of the Hand" exercises.
This inspiring 20-minute video addresses topics such as shame, worthiness, and the value in taking the risk to be vulnerable.
This refreshingly honest talk addresses some of the myths about parenthood. The speakers support the idea that having realistic expectations is one of the most important factors that can help us to navigate the transition to parenthood successfully.
This website has several self-compassion and mindfulness exercises. They're great if you prefer guided mindfulness exercises, and to give you a sense of the many varieties of mindfulness practice available.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) began in 1979 as the Stress Reduction Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. The program was featured in the Bill Moyer's PBS documentary Healing and the Mind and is the subject of Jon Kabat-Zinn's best-selling book, Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of the Body and Mind to Face Stress.
During times of transition, personal loss, intense emotional or physical pain, or any of the numerous circumstances that send our life out of balance, it can be helpful to have support on the journey towards greater calm and a deeper sense of well-being.
The MBSR foundation course includes 8 weekly sessions and a one-day silent retreat. Various mindfulness tools are learned and practiced in a group context with an emphasis on personal journey. Please see specific MBSR programs and retreats for more information.
